Who You Are

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

• Communicate directly with customers regarding HR inquiries, displaying high levels of professionalism, ownership, and compassion
• Independently manage and prioritize a high-volume queue of complex HR and compliance questions, offering clear best practices guidance and effective options while ensuring timely, high-quality responses
• Explain complicated compliance and HR concepts in simple, user-friendly terms
• Balance customer-facing work with participation in ongoing team and departmental projects that improve internal processes and the overall customer experience
• Create and update HR-related content for both external and internal uses
• Serve as a representative for the team and subject matter expert in presentations, training sessions, and inter-departmental initiatives
• Liaise with Compliance to uphold Justworks’ standards as a co-employer and demonstrate discretion as to when issues warrant escalation
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience at the HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Manager or Employee Relations Manager level
• At least 1 of the following HR certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
• If not certified, certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment - Justworks will provide financial support
• Multi-state HR experience a plus
• Experience in tech, SaaS, and/or PEO environments a plus

Compensation

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $122,000.00 to $134,200.00 per year. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
