Hotel Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant

Durham, NC

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our hotel team as Housekeeping & Laundry Attendants. This position is responsible for maintaining clean and comfortable guest rooms and hotel areas while also assisting with daily laundry operations.

Housekeeping Duties:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Make beds and replace sheets and linens
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Dust furniture and other surfaces
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Restock towels, toiletries, and guest room supplies
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways and common areas as needed

Laundry Duties:

• Collect and sort dirty towels, sheets, and other hotel linens
• Load and operate commercial washers and dryers
• Properly use laundry detergents and cleaning products
• Fold and organize clean towels and linens
• Stock clean linens for housekeeping staff
• Inspect linens for stains or damage
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and safe

Requirements:

• Previous hotel housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift approximately 25–50 lbs as needed
• Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required
