Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician Wake Forest, NC | $21/hour | Full-Time | Direct Hire Monday–Friday | Occasional Overtime Are you experienced in appliance delivery, furniture moving, package handling, or other physically demanding work? We're hiring an Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with an established company in Wake Forest, NC! This is a hands-on, physically active position involving the delivery, installation, and removal of washers and dryers at customer locations. Responsibilities Deliver, install, and remove washers and dryers at residential and commercial properties. Safely move heavy appliances up and down stairs using appropriate moving equipment. Load and unload trucks and prepare equipment for daily delivery routes. Connect, test, and inspect appliances to ensure proper operation. Perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed. Maintain accurate delivery records and provide professional customer service. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain equipment and vehicles. Requirements Experience in appliance delivery, furniture moving, package handling, or similar physically demanding work is essential. Must be comfortable performing heavy physical labor daily, including moving appliances up and down stairs. Ability to safely maneuver washers and dryers weighing up to 185 lbs. using a hand truck and appropriate moving techniques. Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to pass required background and drug screenings. Box truck driving experience is a significant plus! Local candidates preferred: Applicants with a reliable commute of approximately 45 minutes or less to Wake Forest are strongly encouraged to apply. Why Apply?
